Why Tinubu will challenge Buhari after his inauguration on May 29 - Atiku's camp

The spokesperson for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, Daniel Bwala, has suggested why the incoming administration of President-elect, Bola Tinubu, may be at odds with the government of President Muhammadu Buhari. Bwala stated that Tinubu's manifesto indicates that he might fight Buhari's policies.

In a tweet, Bwala recounted how Buhari has been blaming the PDP administration for the country's challenges. He noted that it would be interesting to hear the excuses that would emerge from Tinubu's government.

Bwala further stated that during the outgoing administration of Buhari, the government blamed their failures on the PDP. He wondered who Tinubu would point to since his manifesto is geared towards fighting his predecessor.

The statement by Atiku's spokesperson comes at a time when Nigerians are anticipating the government of President-elect, Bola Tinubu, who will be taking over from President Muhammadu Buhari after the 2023 general elections.
