EPL: Declan Rice told club to join from West Ham

McCoist believes that if Rice is considering his options, he would be better off joining Arsenal instead of Manchester United during this summer transfer window.

McCoist stated that while Manchester United has won the League Cup this season, they seem to be lagging behind Manchester City by four or five players.

On the other hand, McCoist believes that although Arsenal is still behind Manchester City, they have the potential to narrow the gap more quickly. He sees Arsenal as a club with the potential to make strides toward challenging the dominance of Manchester City in the future.

McCoist's perspective offers an interesting take on Declan Rice's potential move.
