Atlético Madrid's President, Cerezo, has confirmed that Spanish captain, Álvaro Morata, is free to depart the club if he desires. According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Morata is poised to join AC Milan, with the Italian club ready to activate his €13 million release clause. 

 The striker has reportedly agreed to a four-year deal with AC Milan, with formalities and a medical scheduled for this week. In a statement, Cerezo emphasized Atlético's flexible approach, stating, "Our club allows players to leave if they wish, but we're also happy to keep them if they want to stay. 

 This development signals a potential end to Morata's tenure at Atlético, with AC Milan awaiting his arrival
