Chelsea FC has announced the permanent transfer of forward Diego Moreira to French club RC Strasbourg. This news comes ahead of their Premier League opener against Manchester City.
Moreira, a Portugal Under-21 international, joined Chelsea in July 2023 from Benfica. During his time at Chelsea, he made his first-team debut in the Carabao Cup against AFC Wimbledon in the 2023/24 season.
The young forward also spent the first half of last season on loan at Lyon, gaining valuable experience.
Chelsea bid farewell to Moreira, thanking him for his contributions and wishing him well in his new chapter at RC Strasbourg.
