Napoli striker Victor Osimhen's proposed transfer to Chelsea has fallen through, leaving his future uncertain. Despite interest from Al Ahli, Osimhen was unable to reach an agreement with the Premier League club.
Frozen Out at Napoli
Osimhen has been frozen out by Napoli manager Antonio Conte, who has brought in Romelu Lukaku to lead the attack this season. This has further complicated Osimhen's situation, making a move away from Naples increasingly likely.
Al Ahli's Attractive Offer
Al Ahli remains keen on signing Osimhen, offering Napoli a transfer fee of €75-80m. The Saudi Arabian club has also proposed a four-year contract to the player, worth £33.6m (€40m) per season, or £646,154 per week, tax-free.
Time Running Out
With the Saudi Arabian transfer window closing on Monday, September 2, Osimhen's options are dwindling. It appears unlikely that he will remain in Italy, but a move to Al Ahli may be his most viable option at this stage.
